One observation about StarFox shared among many die-hard fans was that it was seemingly impossible to get a perfect score on Fortuna, regardless of strategy. Of course no one has conclusively proved this, but if true it's more proof that scores are not everything!

|Many of us felt it had to be a bug in the code. However, we've found a version which has no trouble giving perfect scores on Fortuna.|
|As you can see, physically this cartridge uses the newer-style SNES shape, unlike the original. When you turn on the game you can also notice a distinct color change in the title screen. I'm guessing this version had some sort of bug fix for Fortuna as well.|
Credit goes to Hoshikitsunealpha for pointing this out and spending time demonstrating it between multiple cartridges. More credit goes to Nightfox for discovering its apparent Canadian heritage. Please see his site, Fox's Den, in the links page for more pictures!
Credit to JayDrive for pictures of Starwing, the U.K. version of the original StarFox. For those who don't know the story there was some trademark controversy over there which prompted the name change.
