Author: MYSTICSTAR Subject: IS-Midnight Run Posted: MAY 03, 1999 13:04 Neither the Nsiders, the Star Fox team, nor Sovan Jedi knew what had happened during the time that Sovan had passed out or even how he had ever escaped the cave. Only one person, besides Sovan's enemy the lizard brothers of Mexnar, and she was only on a test flight in her C-wing..... //Mystic Star turns on journal program// Hello Again! I have just taken a wild test run in my C-wing. Besides that, I now know for sure something is up. After a successful take-off from the hangar here at my "base", all though you couldn't really call it a base. I made it out into space without getting traked by any scanner. Well, at least I wasn't chased down, shot at, or alerted. I decided to travel to Venus for my first destination. I have always been curious about what Venus' land looks like under the poisonus clouds. I skimmed over the surface of the planet, and I discovered a huge hole that led into the ground. The thing could have fit 5 of my ships in there! It had to have been man or creature made. I decided to check it out. As the air in the tunnel got hotter, the lighter it got because of the glowing rocks. I made it to an opening that seemed near the core of the planet, but that's not all. I saw 4 flying ships in there, with three of them facing one single one. The pilots in the group looked like lizard men. Nasty lizard men. I looked to the single ship. The pilot was slumped over the dash in a badly melted and heat scorched ship. The wings were almost melted off completely. One of the lizard creatures then noticed me and hissed "Intruderrrr". "Okay I'm in trouble" is all I thought. After that I was dodging mad after that with three weirdos on my tail. I was a major trigger finger too. After what seemed like an eternity in the losing battle, they just disappeared. "Okay, smething bad is about to happen..." I thought. It's the ESP again or just stupid logic. Then, as predicted, the cave began to collapse. "I'd better get out of here!" I said to myself. But then I remembered the fighter. Quickly I wedged the nose of my ship between the stump of the wing and the body of the melting ship and pushed it out and through the tunnel I had come in by. Manuvering was the worst that anybody could have. It's like picking up a 10 lb. rubber brick in swimming lessons and the instructor threw it in the 9 foot section of the pool. Finally I made it out. Seconds later there was an explosion and the cave collapsed causing large clouds of smoke. I left the fighter there thinking there was no way someone would come out here by themselves. There had to be others. I headed back to Earth. Before I reached it though, I noticed my cloaking device had been damaged and was not functioning. I quickly rerouted power for weapons to the area so I wouldn't be detected entering Earth. Now I'm back. All I can say is that anyone could have tracked me down out there, good or bad. Let's just hope it wasn't the latter. //MS shuts down program// Author: FJMCCLOUD Subject: IS--Brief Letter to MysticStar Posted: MAY 14, 1999 15:36 F.J. typed in a message to MysticStar via the Great Fox's radio interface, hoping to gain the help of more Nsiders in their quest to defeat Andross. Having gone back in time to buy an advantage against an unstoppable armada, the Star Fox team, together with the Nsiders, also faced new dangers. "Are we going to affect that whole space-time thing by communicating with others from this time?" Falco wondered. "I really don't know," Ringshadow looked over his shoulder to catch a glimpse of the familiar Nsider web site. "But the more help the better. As if the armada wasn't enough trouble, now Sovan Jedi's home has been destroyed!" "Man...fictional characters like Thraktor coming to life! I can't believe it!" Falco replied. The Nsiders nearby just exchanged knowing glances and held back from laughing, realizing that only a year before the Star Fox team itself was, to them, only fictional. F.J. sent the message over Message Center to MysticStar: "MysticStar, if you're wondering where we all went, we joined the Star Fox team to fight Andross in OUR solar system! There's not much time to explain, but we can send one of us down to meet you at 8:00 PM tonight so we can talk details." Author: MYSTICSTAR Subject: IS--Brief Letter to MysticStar Posted: MAY 17, 1999 13:06 //After Mystic Star fixes up her ship flom its first bashing from Venus, she cleans up her mess. Don't think I always do this, I can be a real mess if I'm pushed for time. Mystic Star checks out the momentarily forgotten Star Fox BBS site// Mystic: Crud! I forgot to check my BBS messages! I better check 'em out. //PC turns on and Mystic quickly goes to BBS// Mystic: Hey! I actually got a message this time! //Opens up message from FJ and reads// Mystic: Esh! He's on the Great Fox! Now everything is starting to make some sort of sense! 8 tonight? Oh man, I hope they were planning central time on that one. With all the people up there, who knows what time zone they're following! //Mystic Star goes into flash back// //She sees that she is in the C-wing at Venus and she can she the single plane that she had saved earlier. She can now she that a kid, an Nsider she can tell by instict, is in the melted ruins of an Arwing// Mystic: Ahhhhh! Ok, Mystic. Pull your self together. I know I've been having weird dreams, but I better not go nuts. Man, I hope someone can explain the details to me so I don't freak out one of these days and screw something up. //Mystic Star waits for the landing// Author: MYSTICSTAR Posted: JUNE 3, 1999 //8:00 P.M.// Mystic: Okay, anytime now they should be here. //Base starts to rumble// Mystic: Bingo! Right on schedule. But wait, I can't let them just leave the Arwing out there in plain view, even at this time of night. Those spies or whatever they are have been out and about in town recently. I'd better see if I can move my C-wing as close to the wall as possible, and see if I can make room for an extra ship. //Mystic Star moves the C-wing then uses the ship's communication system// Mystic: Now that that's done, //goes onto com// This is Mystic Star speaking. Whoever you are, wait for the hangar door to open and if there's enough room, pilot the Arwing in. I'm also going to turn the hangar lights down. I'll explain later. Hoar: ::com:: This is Hoar. Are you sure there's a door on this crazy thing?!? Mystic: Oh, so you must be one of the 'tough guys' from the Great Fox, aren't you? Hoar: /teasing/ Hey! Do you want me to land or not? Mystic: Just hold on a sec. Okay, you're cleared for landing. //After a tight fit, Hoar jumps out of the Arwingas Mystic Star walks over to greet him// Mystic: Hey! It's great to finally meet you!
