~"H.O.A.R., wake up! You have an incoming from Fox. Wake
up!", said the computer.
~:groggy:"OK,OK I'm up!", I said. I crawled out of bed and put
some pants on. I stubbed my toe on a chair as I tried to leave my
room. I cursed a few words as I hobbled to the communication
console.
~Last night had been too long. I had to help finish a Venomian
outbreak that had lasted for weeks on Fortuna. The whole thing
ended around 4am. Exausting, but I was paid well for my work.
~"Yeah Fox, wuz up?", I asked. "Oh man, I'm sorry.",said
Fox,"You were busy last night." I replied, "Busy? No! I was
sleepflyin'!" "Right, anyway I wanted to invite you over to a New
Year's party here at Great Fox," said Fox. "Ooo, sounds peachy!
I'll be there!" I eagerly replied.
CRASH!
~Whatever glimse of happiness on his face died in that sound.
Fox said,"Gotta go." The screen ran the words 'end transmission'.
~"That was odd. Maybe Falco and Slippy were getting into it
again. Oh well. A party eh? Why do I have a weird feeling about
this?"

~ Three days later, I was on my way to the party. Flying in my
modified Arwing I came upon Great Fox. She truly is a beautiful
ship...
~ "State name and number of party.", stated ROB64. I
answered,"H.O.A.R., party of 1." "Welcome," said the
robot,"Enjoy the party." I replied,"Thanks, Rob!"
~ "ROB64 the bouncer. Convient! Heh heh!"
~ I was quickly greeted by Fox. "Glad you could make it!", he
exclaimed. I said,"So am I. Life on Katina is boring." Bill popped
in and said,"I hear ya, dude!" Suprised I shouted,"Bill!" We went
through our handshake. "Catch ya later," said Bill,"I'm gonna go
flirt with my hot date!" With that he left.
~ Fox and I went towards the party ourselves until a stagering
drunken figure appeared. I couldn't tell clearly but it looked like
an old fox. "Ohhh... Not again.", groaned Fox.
He quickly lead the figure away. "Fox, who is that?!", I asked. I
got no answer except the depression on his face. I thought about
pursuing, but decided against it.
~ "Did I hear Fox just say Dad?! No, impossible! Or is it...? I'll
soon find out."
~ I joined the party.

~ Bill wasn't lying. She was a mink. With velvet blond hair, bushy tail,
and a great body. I had to stare for a moment. Everyone except me had a
date. I had to laugh to myself when I saw Slip's. "Hehe! Now that's cute!"
No surprize that she was a toad.
~ Then I saw Katt. Her sights were locked on Falco. She carried mistletoe.
"Oh, Falco! Mistletoe!", said Katt. "Ah..Ah..ACHOO! I'm..ACHOO! Alergic to
mistletoe.", said Falco. Katt replied,"Oh s---! I mean sorry!" She quickly
walked off to plan her next apporach leaving Falco puzzled.
~ I made my way to Peppy to get some answers about Fox. "Hey Pep, where's
your nurse?" "Vacation!", scorned Peppy,"What do you want?" I answered,"To
know what's up with Fox." Peppy turned his head and began to shed a tear.
":sob: Excuse me.",Peppy quickly said. He then walked off.
~ "Peppy crying!? This is serious!"
~ I found Fara and approached her about it. "I don't know.", she
stated,"It's definately not like him. I'm worried..." I eyed Fox hiding in
the back of the room. "C'on," I said,"Let's go find out."
~ We soon had Fox cornered.

Subject: SF New Year pt.4

~ "Fox, what are you hiding? Why have you been so
distant?",demanded Fara. "Why did Peppy cry when I asked
about you? Why did you cut me off so quick after I heard that
sound?",I forcfully asked. Fox let out a deep sigh. I said,"Talk to
us, Fox." He was resenting what he was about to do. "Well you
two should at least know, but please keep it a secret for
now!",exclaimed Fox,"Follow me."
~ Fox took Fara's hand as we went down a hallway. A secret
door opened and we entered a darkened room. A containment
tank was inside. Fox said,"Fara, H.O.A.R. I'd like you to meet...
My father!" I gawked in disbelief. But, it was him. James and Fox
looked almost identical. Fara had passed out on the floor. We
quickly rushed to her aid.
~ Reviving her she said,"Fox, I'm so sorry!" We helped her back
up. Fox replied,"No, I'm the one whose sorry. I should have told
you in the first place." He hugged her and kissed her on the
forehead. The only thing that came to my mind was,"Fox,
how???"

~ Fox answered,"He came home on Christmas Eve. I found out
about it when ROB reported a badly damaged Arwing landed in
the docking bay. I got Peppy and rushed to the scene. We found
him unconsience and barely alive. We moved him here. I called a
doctor to come right away. He said he'll survive as long as he
stays there. He also found he has an addiction. One of Andross's
experimental drugs was used on him. It takes control leaving you
a zombie. The worst thing is the withdrawal symtoms. I won't
know anymore until he gets better. I hate to think what kind of
pain he's going through..." Fara replied,"Wow... I have a
father-in-law. "It's going on 11,"said Fox,"He needs rest. We can
catch up later."
~ They left for the party. I stayed to look a little longer. I turned
to leave when a raspy voice asked,"Who...are...you?" It was
James. I said,"I am the one called H.O.A.R. A friend to Fox and
to you." I bowed to him and he nodded his head in return. He
soon went back to sleep.
~ I then left towards the party to celebrate. Not the New Year,
but of James.

~ The time was 10:47pm, and the party was in full swing. Slippy offered me
a glass of punch that I gladly accepted. I said,"Hey, this is spiked!" I
took another drink. "I see the extra helium you have came in handy for
your blow-up doll.",I stated. Slippy exclaimed,"Ha ha! Very funny!" He
then stormed off.
~ "Resolution: Be nicer to Slip... Nah! I'd fail that the first day!"
~ Katt had succeeded while I was away. Somehow, she got Falco stone drunk.
They were a little mor than involved on the couch.
~ The band was in full swing. I couldn't help myself. I made my way to
sing my party song. "Alcohol, my permanent accessory. Alcohol, a party
time necessity..." There wasn't a soul dancing. After I finished the song,
I jumped into the crowd. They caught me, and I began to bodysurf.
~ It went smoothly until Falco grabed me and threw me to the ground. I got
up and threw him down. A fight ensewed. I had him down while I was wailing
on him when I saw Katt. "What? Your not stopping me?",I asked. She shook
her head and said,"No, he needs it." I replied,"OK." I picked him up and
gave him one last punch to the beak. He got up and went back to business
with Katt. "Um...OK.. He's had way to much." They soon dissapeared to who
knows where.
~ Meanwhile on Venom...

~ Wolf groaned, obviously bored out of his mind. "Man, there's nothing to
do!",he exclaimed. "Not unless you think Venomian slug races are
exciting",replied Leon. Wolf said,"It's New Years. We should be having
fun! Hey, where's Pigma? I told him to get us some beers 30 minutes ago!"
~ Andrew came into the room wearing Teletubbie pajamas and carrying a
teddy bear. "Geez! You're still up?!" Wolf then took the bear and cut off
the head. Leon ripped the arms and legs off. They then threw the pieces at
Andrew. "I'm telling my mommy! MOMMY!",he screamed. He got his pieces and
left the room.
~ Pigma came back drunk. He carried alot of empty cases. "I don't feel to
good..." He then passed out on the floor. Wolf shouted,"You fata--! You
drank the entire supply!" "Stupid swine!",exclaimed Leon. They kicked him
a few times and began to argue over the beer.
~ Wolf said,"I told you not to tell him about the beer!" "Did not! I told
you!",replied Leon. Andrew returned saying,"I couldn't find her. OH MY
GOD! Is Pigma...dead!?" They answered,"SHUT UP!"and went back to arguing.
"Guys,"said Andrew,"you missed the New Year." They stopped and looked at
the clock. "So we did.",said Wolf,"Hey, let's start the New Year right."
An evil grin came on Leon's face,"Sure". They advanced on Andrew. "Owww...
Stop it! MOMMY! UNCLE ANDROSS!"
~ Back at Great Fox...

~ It was getting closer to the 12th hour. The time was 11:43. All eyes are
turned on the giant screen which displayed the time. Everyone was just
counting the seconds. At 11:55, all the guys found their special someone.
~ "DING! HAPPY NEW YEAR!"stated ROB64. Kisses flew around the room and
"Alud Lang Syne" began. I sank into the darkness and went to the landing
dock. The last thing I heard was Fox saying,"Hey, where'd H.O.A.R. go?"
~ In the dock, I noticed an Arwing rocking. It was Falco's. "Well, I now
know where they went." I shuddered at the thought and boarded my Arwing.
~ Doing the usual system check, I activated my cloak. "Don't want to be
caught leaving!" The G-Diffuser powered up and gave the usual kick. "Next
stop, Corneria! Where another private party awaits!" The thought left a
big smile on my face as I broke into the atmosphere.
~ I went to Corneria City.

Subject: SF New Year Conclusion

~ The streets were filled with people celebrating the New Year. With cloak
still on, I performed an arial show. I wrote "Happy New Year" and shot off
some bombs leaving the crowd puzzled about where it came from.
~ I landed the Arwing on the roof of a apartment complex and went inside.
"I was beginning to think you forgot,"said the female fox. She eyed me
hungrly. She then slipped off her robe to reveal what was definety
appealing to the eye. "Uh.. No, not really,"I said startled. We kissed
each other passionately. "Hmm... Hope your not to drunk,"she said as she
removed my jacket and shirt. "I've got some news to tell you,"I stated
hoping to savor the moment. She answered,"It can wait." A seductive grin
came over her face as she threw me on the bed. Clapping her hands twice,
the lights went out, candles lit, and soft music began to play. She
pounced on top of me and whispered in my ear,"Don't worry. I'll be gentle.
Hee hee!"
~ The next morning, I told her about James. She didn't believe me. We
broke into Great Fox later to see him. She looked in shock and disbelief.
We exchanged horrified looks. We both knew. It was time for a family
reunion...
